Do you know someone who shows great courage? Deserves special thanks? Goes that extra mile? At Girlguiding Nottinghamshire, we have our own awards too
These might be adults or girls who keep attending despite difficult circumstances, those who ‘go the extra mile’ and those who provide a full and varied programme despite difficulties. Is there someone, whether they are in uniform or not, whose advice or support makes a difference? Then nominate them for an award.
Being recognised for the service to your local community is a very special honour, so if you think someone deserves it, you nominate them. Don’t think everyone else will do it because someone could miss out
You have the chance to nominate someone special for a variety of awards, including the Special Service Award. The Special Service Award is open to any unit helper or non-uniformed member of Girlguiding , male or female, as a sign of appreciation for the advice, support and help they give to units district etc. to enable Girlguiding to work in Nottinghamshire. (This includes those who have retired from ‘active service’ and uniformed guiding , but who continue to serve in another capacity.)
Got someone in mind to nominate?
If you'd like to nominate someone for an award, download the nomination form and return it by the 1st of June of this year.
