Girlguiding Nottingham Parkrun Takeovers
Grab your running shoes, your leaflets and your enthusiasm – Girlguiding Midlands is taking over parkruns across the region on 14 & 15 March 2020! There are parkrun takeovers happening in every county with Girlguiding members running in the event, cheering on the runners and volunteering as marshals.
Girlguiding Nottinghamshire will be taking over the following Parkruns:
Saturday 14 March
Forest Recreation Ground 5km Parkrun – Forest Division Takeover
Race: 9am – 10.30am
Volunteers need to arrive by 8.15am for a briefing at the Pavilion

Beeston Recreation Ground, Weir Fields 5km Parkrun (Beeston & Chilwell and Hemlock Castle Division Takeover)
Race: 9am – 10.30am
Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8.30am for a briefing

Park run events are FREE!
Friends and family are welcome to attend these events to help promote guiding or to run / walk the route.
If you are planning on running / walking at the event then please register. This will ensure you get a time for your run or walk.
If you are planning on volunteering, then you must register and also email the relevant email address as listed above. This means that the team can assign roles.
