I started Guiding at the age of 7, as a Brownie. I then went on to join 86th Nottingham Guides and Rangers in Aspley, and have been with the unit ever since. Most recently I held the role of County Marketing and Communications Adviser. I have also been involved in helping to organise county events, including Countdown 2010 and Vision 2010, the Leaders Thank You event in 2011, the Ginormous Choir, the Big Brownie Birthday and Mega May Fest. I am also currently on the County Awards Committee.

My background is in marketing and PR – I started out working in arts marketing after graduating from Hull University, but moved into Higher Education two years ago – I currently work at Nottingham Trent University as a Marketing Executive. I live in Sherwood with my fiancé, Nick. In my spare time I enjoy helping to organise and support arts, music and food events in Nottingham. I am very honoured to have been asked to take on this role and look forward to working alongside Jackie and Kirstie – I’m really excited for this new challenge!
