Resources and printed materials
There are plenty of resources to help put our message across effectively and promote guiding in your local area: posters, postcards, flyers, adverts, display boards and banners. Please contact our PR team, who will be happy to help.
There is also a range of editable recruitment materials available. The materials include, posters, flyers and invites – including for Holiday Brownies. These can be requested by contacting the county PR Team. The Team can either edit the materials for you or provide you with the editable version to edit yourselves. The Team will also be able to advise you on the correct use of branding. The resources are currently provided in Publisher format. Text on the posters can be edited and a local logo can be inserted.

Got a story?
If you have any story that you think might be news worthy please contact the PR team. Girlguiding Nottinghamshire has the support of a professional consultant who will help you tell your story to the press in the most appropriate way. But please remember that it is important to act quickly, we can’t sell old news!
If you want to write an article for the local press please contact the PR Adviser for help or you can download a booklet that will give you some advice. The booklet should be printed as double sided A4 folded into an A5 booklet. You can change the ‘page setup’ under printing ‘preferences’ to print it off as a booklet. Download it here: Girlguiding Nottinghamshire – Press Release template.
