Girlguiding Nottinghamshire requires an Administrative Assistant to work in its Nottinghamshire office. Girlguiding Nottinghamshire is the leading charity for girls and young women in Nottinghamshire and is part of Girlguiding UK. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a three person team and will report to the office manager.
The position involves a variety of administrative duties to support Girlguiding Nottinghamshire’s many volunteers. These will include answering the telephone, filing, letter writing, event and training administration and support, sorting post, obtaining information from Girlguidings’ computer systems, maintaining and updating the county website, report compilation, photocopying and maintaining records.
Applicants are required to have at least two GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English language, be able to use Microsoft office and have experience of working in an administration/office environment.
This position is part time at 10 -15 hours per week at a commencing wage rate of £8.75 per hour. Hours will be flexible with occasional evening and weekend working expected and there will be a need to cover the core office open hours between 10am – 2pm, on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and references.
